DESCRIPTION:
Primate Kingdom is made of six large and two small man-made islands planted with tall trees, wild grasses, palms and bamboos. It boasts several collection of attractive primate species such as the lion-tailed macaques, patas monkeys, playful bunch of brown capuchins, docile-looking Celebes crested macaques, douc langurs, black spider monkeys and golden-lion tamarins.

Its landscape was carefully designed to ensure there are ample spaces for each animal, not to mention the need for the primates to feed themselves from the trees.

Oddly, primates are also on exhibit on sporadic locations throughout the zoo. There is a special place for the orang utans where 23 of them are put in their natural surrounding. They have become a rather emblematic for the zoo management for successfully putting together such a large number of orang utans together.

Throughout the zoo, there are also gibbons, black howler monkeys, red-ruffed lemurs, chimpanzees and mandrills on display at different location.

MY VERDICT:
Primate kingdom itself was rather subdued. But the collection of orang utans that the zoo has is worth my recommendation.
