GETTING HERE:
While the cable car to Sentosa originates from Mount Faber, most visitors will embark from HarbourFront Tower Two terminal. To get to HarbourFront, take the North East Line to NE1 HarbourFront MRT station. If you prefer to use local buses, these SBS Transit buses go to HarbourFront bus interchange: 0, 65, 80, 97, 100, 131, 145, 166, and 855. From the bus interchange, walk across the street to the cable car station. Ticket prices are SGD9.90/SGD4.50 (Adult/Child) for one-way travel or SGD10.90/SGD5.50 roundtrip.

DESCRIPTION:
Opened in 1974, Sentosa Cable Car has become the synonymous landmark of the city-state's aspiration to become one of Asia's greatest tourist destination.

The journey from HarbourFront to Sentosa's Imbiah Lookout takes about 5 minutes. Depending on the weather condition, glorious views could be enjoyed throughout the journey. During my visit, the day was blessed with clear blue sky, hence the views were fantastic. The ocean was shimmering in turquoise blue green. As you get closer to Sentosa, you may see a number of large cruise ships docked down below. Also look out to the left side where you may enjoy the view of Singapore city skyline across the Keppel Harbour.

Visitors will alight at Sentosa's cable car station at Imbiah Lookout from which various Sentosa buses will await to carry you to the island's many attractions.

MY VERDICT:
Fantastic journey although somewhat too short.
